Spring showers drip from new growth, shining beads on bright yellow-green, twining leaves coating the brown of winter.
Wrens rustle through the undergrowth, glints of movement, tiny and hidden under bowers of soft leaves.
Luscious greens splatter across softly textured paper, blending with warm browns and glimmering gold. Wrens perch upon gestural sweeps of paint, splashes and vivacious runs echoing their frisky and bright attitudes. Trickles of gold ink pool and flow through the work, catching the eye with glints and shimmers.
A loud trill of song reverberates through the garden, powerful notes from the diminutive bird.
A flicker of golden brown, quivering barred tail up-flicked. Small wings blur as the wren dances on to the next branch.
